Matt Peters is one of our talented brewers.  He makes our brewing operation hum.  Matt Peters joined the Biere de Mac brew team in late 2017 for a single brew day after our Chef at the time thought that he might like it.  Well, long story short, Matt is like that stray cat in your neighborhood, once you feed it, it’s impossible to get rid of!  We think brewing fed his curiosity & the special blend of precision, science, mechanics and chemistry was enough to keep him around.  We are thankful every day for the hard work that Matt puts in and you can taste his passion in every brand that we offer.

Matt has worked in a wide array of professions over the years including robotics, carpentry, wildlife as well as working as a fishing guiding out west in Oregon.  He has 7 years of professional brewing experience under his belt as well.  He is constantly reading up on brewing techniques, various beer styles, and trying to better understand what it takes to make exceptional beer.  In his spare time he likes to be out in nature, whether that be hiking, hunting, exploring or just hanging out at the beach.
