Le Brézé

Hailing from the Bavarian lineage, but with a cereal mash of corn, our Le Brézé, Alsatian Pilsner has a little bit of history.  Named after the Second Rate French War Ship commissioned in 1647 that the Ranville's voyaged to the new world on.  Using French Pilsner Malt, Alsatian Hops & Cereal Mash gives this beer a refreshing & interesting take on a Pilsner.

Bitterman's IPA

The Bitterman's IPA was conceived when we gave our brewer Seth Bitterman a crack at an IPA and he didn't disappoint!  This bright, aromatic American IPA is rich with Hops that creates bold flavors.  Chinook, Nugget, Sorachi Ace, Citra and a healthy dose of dry hops on several occasions.

Janis the Eagle

Janis the Eagle is a Latvian Farmhouse ale that has a fare amount of European malts giving a nice cracker/bready profile; De-bittered Black provides color without roast. Lemony Latvian Farmhouse yeast gives this beer a distinctive taste and dry finish. Citra & Sorachi Ace hop varietals brings out nice lemon pith and citrus aroma.  In turn we have a super approachable thrist quenching beer!

Second Beach French Grisette

For those of you unfamiliar with the French Grisette style, it is the cousin of saison and is climbing the ranks to be the next hit under the French/Belgian Farmhouse style.  They are low alcohol, have a fair amount of wheat in the grain bill, and have noticeable hopping levels.  Our Second Beach French Grisette hits all those marks as we exclusively use Strisselspalt and Tardif de Bourgogne French noble hops giving it a pleasant lemony citrus aroma & flavor.  To learn more about this style check out this link.

Our Bateau Brown Ale is a medium bodied, Northern Michigan Brown Ale.  It has a nice nutty aroma and is one of the few beers that we use unaltered ground water from the tip of the mitt water table.  The roasted malts are the star of the show followed by subtle sweetness for an extremely balanced beer.

Jacob's Farmhouse Ale

The Jacob's Farmhouse is a traditional Northern French Farmhouse Ale.  It consists of a pleasing amount of Srisselspalts hops from the Alsace region of France that lends itself of grassy, citrus and herbal notes in the aroma.  The yeast has esters that give hints of banana and faint clove formulating an easy drinking "Old World" European style ale.  There is a reason that this beer has earned its place on our board time and time again as the people always seem to ask for it!

Divebar Situation Imperial IPA

The Divebar Situation is incredibly balanced Imperial IPA showcasing hops based on their aromatic qualities. These Pacific Northwest and Michigan varieties contribute a pungent blend of grapefruit, stone fruit and floral notes.  A generous malt bill and substantial portion of Belgian candi sugar provide just enough body to keep the balance in check, resulting in a remarkably drinkable rendition of a Double India Pale Ale style.

Dock Porter

The Dock Porter consists of English imported grains, hops and yeast. Our Dock Porter is a beautiful rendition of a timeless classic and it is no secret why this beer was voted in MyNorth Magazine's Red Hot Best for "locally made beer" in the Straits region of Northern Michigan.  It has a slightly sweet roast component with subtle hints of caramel, and a bready medium bodied mouthfeel.  This porter is well rounded and easy on the palate.

Winnie the Bulldog

Winnie the Bulldog was the nickname given to the British Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, who most notably was strong willed and tough in a time of need during the second World War.  Fittingly, this robust Russian Imperial Stout boasts flavors of dark chocolate, toffee, roasted overtones and a long finish.

Style: Russian Imperial Stout

Fleur de Mac

Using yeast from Bastogne, this beer explodes with floral notes on the nose coupled with hints of estery & phenolic spice.  Medium bodied & big mouthfeel, our Blonde Biere de Garde has complex grains that lends itself to cracker and biscuit malt characteristics and features an extremely long dry finish.

Loudmouth Blonde

The Loudmouth Blonde is a mainstay at Biere de Mac and has become known and loved by many through out the years.  It consists of 2 Row, Vienna, Melanoiden & Crystal malt in the grain bill and makes this fantastic Belgian Blonde Ale a must try.  With medium body and a crisp finish this beer really wets your whistle.  With a "loud" mouthfeel and bready clove characteristics, this easy drinking beer is sure to please anyone who enjoys a hearty Blonde!
