Fleur de Mac Deep Reserve

The Final Deep Reserve: Fleur de Mac Deep Reserve – Limited to 286 Bottles

The Fleur de Mac Deep Reserve

The Fleur de Mac Deep Reserve is a Blonde Bière de Garde that spent one year and one week aging in a French oak barrel previously housing Mackinaw Trails white wine, deep beneath the Straits of Mackinac. This exceptional beer marries the bright, floral complexity of our award-winning Fleur de Mac with elegant oak influence and subtle white wine notes, delivering a refined and truly one-of-a-kind experience.
With an ABV around 9.8% it highlights the classic farmhouse elegance of a traditional Blonde Bière de Garde.  It is crisp yet full-bodied, with cracker and biscuit malt character, floral esters, and a touch of spicy phenolics from our Bastogne yeast. The extended barrel aging adds layers of sophistication: gentle vanilla, bright fruit undertones, and a silky texture that enhances its drinkability while preserving the beer’s vibrant backbone. This makes it an outstanding companion to lighter fare, seafood, cheeses, or simply enjoyed on its own—and it holds excellent potential for further cellaring.
This is the second and final release in our extremely limited “Deep Reserve” series, only 286 hand-bottled, bottle-conditioned 750ml champagne-style bottles. Each one is hand-labeled and individually numbered, positioning it as a true collector’s item and a piece of Straits of Mackinac brewing history.
Bottles will be released this Saturday on a first-come, first-served basis for $300 each. No reservations, no shipping—availability is extremely limited, and demand is expected to be high, so act quickly to secure yours.
Unlike the previous release, this bottle does not include the 20-page photo book—but the beer itself stands as a testament to patience, craftsmanship, and the unique aging environment that only Bière de Mac can offer.
This is more than just a beer; it’s the culmination of our Deep Reserve series, capturing rare character from extended aging under the Straits. Once these are gone, they’re gone forever.
À Votre Santé – we look forward to raising a glass with those who claim one of these final treasures.
