Eliza Caroline - Deep Reserve 2023

Eliza Caroline Deep Reserve

The Eliza Caroline Deep Reserve

The Eliza Caroline Deep Reserve is a Brown Bière de Garde that spent one year aging in a Cabernet wine barrel beneath the Straits of Mackinac. This exceptional beer blends deep malt complexity with rich oak and red wine tannins, resulting in a truly unique drinking experience.

With an ABV of 10.1%, it showcases a carefully balanced grain bill that defines a classic Bière de Garde. Moreover, aging in Hungarian oak enhances its depth, adding subtle wine characteristics while preserving its malty backbone. As a result, this beer pairs beautifully with foods that complement a fine Cabernet and offers excellent aging potential.

This extremely limited release includes only 286 bottles. Each one is hand-labeled and individually numbered, making it a true collector’s item. Currently, about 150 remain available to the public. Since demand is high, bottles will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis for $300 each. No reservations or shipping—secure yours while supplies last.

To make this release even more special, each 750ml Champagne-style bottle includes a 20-page photo book that tells the full story of this beer, from barrel aging to its time beneath the Straits.

This beer offers more than just incredible flavor—it delivers a piece of brewing history. Because of its rarity, this opportunity won’t come again. Don’t wait too long, or you’ll miss your chance to own one of the rarest beers ever crafted.
