Summer Concert Series in the Backyard
In case you needed one more reason to visit Biere De Mac this summer (in addition to 13 or 14 rotating reasons on the beer list) we’re introducing our Summer Music Series this year! Join us in our new Backyard Beer Garden for Live Music in Mackinaw City all summer long.
Over the course of the last few years, Biere de Mac has had to find ways to reinvent itself and remain relevant in the brewery world. Live Music in Mackinaw City is one way that we have identified to be a draw for our fellow beer loving patrons. Coupling Live Music with fresh Craft Beer is not a new thing, but it will be for us! While we are not the only place in Mackinaw where you can see a live show, we feel that our intimate Backyard is the perfect atmosphere to take in some live entertainment while enjoying our large selection of French & Belgian artisan Farmhouse Ales.
What to expect this year
New to our Backyard this year will be an outdoor bar with 4 rotating taps. We wanted to make beer easily accessible for customers while they are enjoying Live Music in our beautiful Northern Michigan setting! It is our intention to become a well established outdoor music venue where tourists and guests can be sure to find some great music every Friday and Saturday night. Starting in June, patrons can count on live music on the weekends until the end of September. Bands were selected to cover a broad array of musical talent and sound. Genres include Blues, Rock, Jazz, Bluegrass, Brass Bands, DJ’s, Duo Acts, Singer Songwriters, Jam Bands, String Bands and Country. There is even a classically trained Irish fiddler for good measure!
There has always been a need for a stronger presence of Live Music in Mackinaw City. We are very proud of our Summer Concert Series lineup! We look forward to sharing pints, conversation and Music over the course of this summer!
Free Shows & Cover Charges
The majority of our live music lineup for the 2022 Summer Series will be provided by Biere de Mac with no charge but for some there will be a $20 cover charge. Included in that charge will be any 2 beers & grant entry to the Backyard one hour prior to the event. Bands will play two 75 minute sets starting at 8pm and all events will be general admission.
